Today, when the jelly was plopped on my belly and the ultrasound wand swirled around, we asked. This timeófor the second baby, the last babyóI kind of needed to know.
Itís a boy. A boy!
Two boys, Brothers. Buddies. A house full of testosterone and a ton of food and stinky laundry in my future.
Two boys! Two sure-to-be-awesome men.
Iíd be lying if I said Iím not a twinge sad that I will never get to be the mom to a girl. No ballet lessons, boy band swooning or wedding dress shopping. But, you know, boys, I like them a lot. And I get to raise another one. The world needs more great men and Iím happy to oblige. Plus, can you even imagine how cute heíll be? Oh my! Iím so excited! Look at him: Heís already waving for the camera. Thatís my boy!
