Soooo, Theo likes Nate better than me.
He squeals and wiggles with delight every time Nate enters the room. He peers over the back of the couch and waits for Nate to emerge from the bathroom. He squirms so much less when Nate changes his diaper. And nothing can compare to the amount of laughter that Nate can bring out of the little munchkin.
And Iím not being delusional. Theoís nanny knows. And if she tells me one more time what a daddyís boy he his Iím going to burst into tears.
Itís not like Theo dislikes me. Itís just different. I read somewhere that if a baby is smiles and sunshine all day and melts down with the mamma, it just means that heís most comfortable with her. Itís likely a load of hooey to make second-best parents feel better. But Iíll take it.
