Is there a puppet on the TV? Well then, it must be raining. Truth be told, I don’t mind the Baby Einstein DVDs. When it’s a crap day, it’s a good way to break-up the crawl-stand-cruise-bang-things-together routine. I’m all like, “Look, Theo it’s a…what the heck is that? A dinosaur? Is it? Who cares! Yay dinosaur! Look!” He stands there, holding onto his little Fisher Price mirrored musical thingy, having a grand ol time. And even when he’s not paying attention at all, I’m still yapping away: “Ohhh, fishy!”
The other day Nate got his first glimpse of the DVD. Theo’s nanny had it on to calm the boo down while he was having a bottle. Later that night, Nate was all, “Have you seen this? It’s fantastic! There are puppets!”
This is what it has come to, people: The joy of puppets on TV.
