play with Theo is fascinating. Not only is she the ultimate baby person, she has years of experience helping autistic children find their voices. Tracy totally manhandled him. She’d playfully push him into a pillow. When he’d go to crawl, she’d grab his little ankles and drag him toward her. He could not get enough! The squeals and smiles! When we were at a toy store, Tracy snapped this robot arm thing at him, and again—squeals of delight. She’s like, “he likes things coming at him. I bet he’d really love a puppet.” So when we got home I dug out his elephant puppet and made it pop out of one of Theo’s other toys. Need I even write it? Loved it!
Tracy is magic.
(Why no play pictures? Because I stink. Here: Theo eating his first Cheerio. Exciting things, people.)
