Watching Theo eat is quite fun. He leans into his spoon, apparently unable to wait for me to lift it to his lips. He lets bits of banana or apple sauce or sweet potatoes fall right out of his mouth. He squishes his nose and lips up when he’s unsure of what he’s just tasted, then quickly leans into the spoon for more. He takes the spoon from my hand and tries to feed himself, sometimes sticking the wrong side in his pie hole. Today, I added a sippy cup to our routine. The doc said that babies at this age are much more willing to try a cup than older babies. He made the craziest face when the splash of milk hit his lips, then he made like the kitties and attempted to lick the milk out of the cup.
It’s like watching a mini and adorable version of Medieval Times.
