New job today.
So far, so good. It’s so weird: I didn’t even think about the new gig all weekend. And I didn’t wake up nervous this morning at all. Everything just feels right.
Last week, or the week before, a friend of mine said something to the effect that she envied the fact that certain parents don’t clutter their mind with extraneous work worries. They’ve got more important things to do when they get home. Plus, who’s got the time—or energy—to stress about work? Not me.
Let's hope this feeling lasts.
