I had lunch with an ex-colleague today who is--get this--due the same day as me. Crazy, right? She's way more on her game than I am, however. She has a midwife lined up, she has toured hospitals, she's building extra storage in her apartment, she's pondering the time-consuming-ness of breast feeding...
Meanwhile, I bought a star
and am fixated on the fact that I look perpetually bloated.
When do I need to learn stuff? Should I be touring the hospital and thinking about where I will pumping milk at work? There must be some sort of baby version of The Knot
that highlights all of things that I should be doing. Of course, according to The Knot, there are still 143 things that I need to do for the wedding. I guess I'm beyond the help of a Web site.
